Buy vs Rent CH is a financial calculator app for iOS, published by actuaryexplains.ch. This policy describes how the app handles information. The short answer: it doesn’t collect any.

• Financial inputs you enter into the calculator
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs

How Your Inputs Are Stored

All values you enter (purchase price, mortgage rate, rent, etc.) are saved locally on your device only, using iOS’s built-in storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is automatically deleted if you uninstall the app. We have no access to it.

Internet & Network Access

The app is fully offline. It makes no network requests of any kind. No data is ever sent over the internet.

Third-Party Services

The app does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, advertising networks, or social media frameworks. The PDF export feature uses only Apple’s built-in system frameworks.

Children’s Privacy

This app is a financial calculator intended for adults making real estate decisions. It is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, regardless of age.
